Nova Scotia Weather Service issues seasonal forecasts usually every season, or in some cases just in Winter and Summer. Seasonal outlooks are released usually close to the season's start. Seasonal forecasts are based on current, and long-range weather patterns, long-range weather forecast models, ocean temperatures and more. As well for Winter/Summer El-Nino/El Nina can be a factor to watch for. After all of the data is studied, Nova Scotia Weather Service issues a seasonal outlook! The next seasonal outlook will be Winter 2015/16.
